Guest Services & Hospitality Trudy greets arriving guests, provide check-in services, and orient visitors to the property and local area. She answers questions, offer recommendations for restaurants and attractions, and ensure guests feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their stay. She is the friendly face of the inn, maintaining the personal touch that makes B&B experiences special.

Breakfast Preparation & Service One of the most important responsibilities is preparing and serving the signature gourmet breakfasts that B&B guests anticipate. This includes menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking multi-course meals, accommodating dietary restrictions, and presenting beautifully plated dishes. Trudy & Kevin also manage the dining room service, engage in pleasant conversation with guests, and ensure the breakfast experience reflects the inn's standards.

Housekeeping & Property Maintenance We handle all cleaning duties, including turning over guest rooms between stays, laundering linens and towels, maintaining common areas, and keeping the property spotless. We perform routine maintenance checks, address any immediate repair needs, and ensure the historic property is well-maintained inside and out.

Reservations & Administrative Tasks Trudy & Kevin manage the online reservation system, respond to inquiries, process bookings, handle payments, and maintain accurate records. This includes coordinating check-in and check-out times and communicating with upcoming guests about their reservations.

Pet Care An important responsibility includes caring for the inn's beloved dog, Bella, while the family is away. This means feeding, walking, providing companionship, and ensuring Bella receives the attention and care she needs. Bella often becomes a charming part of the guest experience, and relief innkeepers help maintain her routine and wellbeing.

Overall Inn Management We also serve as the on-site managers, handling any unexpected situations that arise, from guest requests to minor emergencies. We maintain the inn's atmosphere, uphold its reputation for excellence, and ensure that every guest enjoys the same quality experience they would receive from the owners themselves.
